The Staff Selection Commission has opened its doors for the recruitment of the post of SSC CGL vacancy 2021. Aspirants who are eager to develop a career in Government services with equal eligibility are most welcome for the opportunity. Interestingly, the SSC has released various government posts like SI, Tax Assistant C, UDC, Assistant, Accountant, Auditor, JSO, Inspector, ASO, Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer for the candidates.

Talking about the selection process, the entire procedure will happen in online mode. The entrant has to fill the application form, after which he or she will be called for online written test series, divided into four tiers.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2021-22

The Staff Service Commission has announced eligibility criteria for the year 2021-22. Candidates who are applying for the exam are required to pass the eligibility criteria successfully. Please mention the following points mindfully. 

SSC CGL Nationality

 
Aspirants applying for the SSC CGL various posts must be a citizen of India or Nepal, if not then Bhutan. He or she must have an authenticated certification issued by the native Government.
 

SSC CGL Age Limit

The SSC CGL Age Limit is set as of 01-01-2022. Moreover, several other factors like reservations and post-wise age limits may affect the eligibility criteria of a candidate.

SSC CGL Educational Qualification

To pass the minimum eligibility criteria, the candidate needs to have at least one of the following educational qualifications as per the respective post.

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University

CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/

Master’s in Business Studies

Junior Statistical Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;

Or

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at

degree level.

Assistant in National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT):

 Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

or

 Degree in law from a recognized university.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.

or

Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution;

or

Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation courses.

All other Post

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

SSC CGL Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL selection process is segmented into four equal stages, i.e., Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, Tier IV. Out of which, Tier IV is only applicable for the post required. It will measure the functional knowledge, computer skill test of the candidate. Tier-I & II are comprised of Computer Based Examination, whereas, Tier-III is a Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper).

SSC CGL Application Form
