Age Limit
Candidates applying for the exam must be between 18 to 40 years of age.
Educational Qualification
As per the authority, there is no such hectic educational qualification asked to get eligible for the examination. However, the candidate must possess a B.E/ B. Tech degree or a diploma in the major stream from a recognized board or university.
Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India. If not, they should either be from Nepal or Bhutan. Otherwise, they can be a Tibetan refugee living in India since 1962. Moreover, a candidate can be an Indian who has been based in other countries like Pakistan, Vietnam, Burma, East African Countries, etc.

RSMSSB Junior Engineer Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The RSMSSB JE Exam Pattern for the year 2022 acquires of a written test consists of two sections which are General Knowledge and Concerned Subjects of engineering.
• The examination will be for two hours, consisting of a total of 120 questions, each question with one mark.
• A negative marking of 1/3 marks will be marked with every wrong answer.
• The minimum qualifying marks for the exam is 40% of the total maximum marks.
• Moreover, candidates who clear or touch the cut-off marks will be allowed to appear for the Documentation Verification process.
Talking about the selection process, it consists of two stages, that is, the written exam, and the Document Verification (DV) process.
Aspirants who pass the cut-off marks will be wholeheartedly invited by the authority, to begin with, their job.
